Cookie policy for this website

How we use cookies. We keep this deliberately small: one analytics tool, and only if you say yes.

Draft for legal review. Not yet in force.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

The short version

The points that matter most:

  • We set no analytics cookies until you click Accept analytics on the cookie banner.
  • The only analytics we use is Google Analytics 4, to count visits and understand which pages are useful.
  • We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site profiling. Advertising storage is always denied.
  • You can accept or reject, and change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
  • Cookies set by our hosting provider, if any, are limited to what is needed to serve the site. To confirm: whether the hosting provider sets any cookies

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device to remember things between pages or visits. Similar technologies, such as a browser's local storage, do much the same job. This policy covers both and uses the word cookies loosely for either.

Essential storage

These items are needed for the site to work as you expect, so they do not need consent. Both stay on your device and are never sent to us.

  • applyd-theme (local storage): your light or dark choice, so the site looks the same next time.
  • applyd-consent (local storage): your analytics choice, either granted or denied, so we honour it and stop asking.

Analytics cookies

These are set only after you click Accept analytics. They are provided by Google (Google Analytics 4) and used to distinguish visitors and sessions and to count page views, in aggregate.

  • _ga: tells visitors apart. Lasts up to 2 years.
  • _ga_<container-id>: keeps session state. Lasts up to 2 years.
  • We send one event, generate_lead, when a demo or security documents form is submitted. It carries only the form name, never your details.

Your choices

You are in control of analytics cookies:

  • At the banner: choose Accept analytics or Reject. Reject keeps analytics off entirely.
  • To change your mind: use Cookie settings in the footer to reopen the banner and choose again. Choosing Reject stops further collection, and you can delete the existing Google cookies in your browser settings.
  • In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage for any site. Blocking them will not break this site.

Third parties

When analytics is loaded after your consent, Google processes the resulting data under its own terms, described in the Google privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Other providers we rely on, such as email delivery and hosting, are listed in our privacy policy.

No advertising or cross-site tracking

We do not run advertising on this site. There is no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no Google Ads or remarketing tag, and no profiling of your activity across other websites.

Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies or technologies we use, we will update this page and its date. If we add a new category that needs consent, we will ask before setting it.
