Who we are

applyd.ai ("we", "us") operates this website and is the data controller for any personal information collected through it. This policy does not cover the agent platform, which is governed by the agreement a customer signs.

Our registered address is 9 Nicholson Street, Rochdale, OL11 1PT, United Kingdom. To confirm: registered company name and number that trades as applyd.ai.

What we collect

We only collect personal information you give us deliberately, plus a small amount of technical data needed to run the site. We do not buy lists and we do not run advertising pixels.

• Demo request form: your name, work email and company, and optionally your CRM and a message.
• Security documents form: your name, work email and company, and optionally a message.
• Your IP address, held in server memory for a short window to limit repeated submissions. It is not written to a database.
• A light or dark theme preference, saved in your own browser. It is never sent to us.
• Your cookie choice, saved in your own browser so we do not keep asking.
• Only if you accept analytics: pseudonymous usage data collected by Google Analytics 4, such as the pages you view, your approximate country and your device type.
• Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider. To confirm: hosting provider and log retention period

Why we collect it

For form submissions, our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): you asked us to get back to you, and we cannot do that without your details. For analytics, our lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), and we set nothing until you give it.

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo, send our security pack under NDA, and keep the forms free of abuse. We do not use form submissions for marketing emails or drip campaigns, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not become a customer relationship, we keep it for up to 24 months from your last contact, then delete it. If it leads to a signed agreement, communication records are kept for the length of that relationship plus any legal or contractual period, usually six years for tax purposes.

The IP address used for rate limiting is held in memory for a short window and is lost when the server restarts. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for the retention period we configure there.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See your rights below.

Who else sees it

Your data is processed by a small number of providers, each under a data processing agreement.

• Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) delivers the email containing your form submission to our team. When email delivery is not configured, nothing is sent.
• Our hosting provider serves the site and runs the code that handles your form submission. To confirm: hosting provider and processing regions
• Google (Google Analytics 4) receives usage data only if you accept analytics.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based in the United States, so personal data may leave the UK or EU. Where that happens, transfers rely on the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another safeguard recognised by the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

This site is for people evaluating applyd.ai for their business. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us details, tell us and we will delete them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Erase your data.
• Restrict how we use it while we resolve a dispute.
• Give you a machine-readable copy to take elsewhere.
• Stop processing it for legitimate interests, and withdraw analytics consent at any time.
• To make a request, write to privacy@applyd.ai. We respond within 30 days, usually faster. To confirm: these mailboxes are live before launch.
• If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages help. It loads only after you click Accept analytics, using Google Consent Mode so that analytics storage stays denied until then. Advertising storage is always denied.

We run no other analytics or advertising scripts. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. The cookie policy lists every item.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, typically when we add or change a provider or when the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Significant changes will be flagged on this site before they take effect.
